About the Band
The Blowfly'z is best described as an Australian bush band unique in its own style . They have moved the boundaries of bush band music, with a show full of high energy, good timin; Anglo Celtic inspired bush rock'n Country music. The old and the new combined, classic redone with the energy and the emotion that they've been waiting for as well as a few uncovered diamonds and a bunch of unforgettable originals.
The band has travelled and performed with the Kidney Car Rally, also playing on the road with the Braeve Heart Foundation and other fund raising organisations.
This band has performed with the best in places such as, Panthers, St. Marys Club, far afield as Blinman South Australia, and not to Forget the Katherine Muster.
These Boys have shared the stage with the likes of Slim Dusty, Lee Conway, Sara Storer, The Crosby Sisters and many more of Australia's best. The Blowfly's are no strangers to awards themselves, such as Vocal, instrumental and best overall act Tamworth 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, winning The Battle of the Bush each year. i.e. Fowlhouse Jack, Terror Australis.
